What was our project?
For this project we had to come up with idea or object that solves a world problem. The problem come get anything from tying shoes to climate change. We also had to follow the engineering design cycle for this project. My group specifically chose how to fix overpopulation thought education of under developed countries.
Engineering Design Cycle
1. Identify Need: Over Population
2. Research Problem: We researched the causes of overpopulation and were it is most prominent. We also researched how overpopulation effects society and the environment. Then we started to research possible solution for over population. We discovered that more developed countries have a decreasing population. This is because in a developed country it becomes very expensive to raise a child. Also more people are educated so they know about birth control and consequences of more children.
3. Select Most Promising Solution: Our most promising solution was to educate less develop countries so it could help the grow the economy so the country would become more developed and so people know the consequences of having more children
4. Construct a Prototype: A foundation that helps created teachers in under developed countries and builds schools. It would also help puss for gender equality in schools for those countries.
5. Test and Evaluate Prototype: We couldn't test it.
6. Communicate Design: Presented our idea to our STEM class.
7. Redesign: We were going to send teachers over to under developed counties. However, we realized that this could be dangerous because in some of these countries there are terrorist organizations which would dangerous. Also these teacher couldn't stay in a different country for an entire because they probably have other obligations.

Our Presentation
Reflection
This was probably the most challenging project I have had to complete. I only had one partner so there was a lack of man power and research being done on the project. Despite this, it was more organized and easier share ideas. During this project, I did take the leadership roll. I made sure the work was divided up equally and that we always doing something to finish our goal. I also, cooperated well with my teammate. We switched roles so we could progress quicker. Even though, I was the leader of the group and cooperated well. I could have done somethings better. First, I would get off task sometimes and distracted others. Second, I somethings didn't accept my teammates ideas. Overall, this was a enjoyable. Despite there being many challenge my teammate and I had to overcome.
